Temperance House is in Port Charlotte, a beautiful conservation village of white-washed terraces and cottages by the shores of Lochindaal on the famous Hebridean island of Islay. Referred to as the “Queen of the Hebrides”, Islay is probably best known for its prized export, fine malt whisky.

Temperance House is made up of 2 fully refurbished and self-contained holiday apartments.

The main apartment (pictured below) is on the first and second floors. The entrance hall has ample hanging space for outdoor clothing.  A staircase leads to the first floor, opening into a spacious hallway.

Temperance House is our holiday home but when we are not staying there we are delighted to make it available to guests all year round.

Both apartments are available for weekly rental, Sunday to Sunday. Shorter term lets may be available in the low season.
